It's a truck that actually rides better than any other truck.
Most, if not all trucks have a higher rear end to allow for loading the truck box or trailer and maintaining a level ride.
If you don't use the truck for truck stuff then there are many leveling kits available.
It's a truck, very...
Since it's all f series models, the big problem is part availability. Took my dealer a month plus to get the switch in.
The part was designed to be small, light and cheap but obviously the little contactors were no match for the rear motors.
It's the drivers control switch assembly that has the relays in it.
It's a problem across the f150 range.
Very common. Happened to me last summer, was able to manually put the window up and disconnect the motor until the switch arrived. Requires pulling the interior door panel off the...
Ice engines and transmissions aren't perfect to this day.
Brand new tundras were blowing engines, Ford had bad engines and bad transmissions.
The key is having a good dealer nearby.
This is 100% user error.
It is amazing that he was able to jam it in like that.
Getting it out will be easy but it will require someone with a little more dexterity and spatial recognition.
Did you use the climate control in FordPass or did you turn the truck on via the dash?
Do you have the toggle for climate while unplugged on?
There is also a built in shutdown timer in the truck that can be adjusted.
Don't know who your dealer is but it sounds like they're not very capable.
If it needs updates, they can update it or find out why it's not updating.
Warranty should cover most problems too.
There are no lemon laws in Canada that I know of. You have 30 days from purchase to return it...
You'll have to double check but there may be limited propower available while driving.
I think your easiest route is a lead going from the plug to the bumper.
My guess is that once the update package is delivered, the modules are updated one by one with most of them not requiring any downtime but resetting once finished. I have seen this behaviour for a day or 2 and then it will randomly give me the update complete message.
If the codes aren't easily found they are most likely dealer level codes.
Your dealer knows what they mean, at least to the level of reading the code and what the description is.
For most people, there would be no difference but I think they're trying to avoid litigation. There are already people trying to blame bluecruise alone for causing accidents.
However, I do agree that it would be nice if they could combine sway control with the other driver assist features.
I haven't seen what gm is capable of but with the endless combination of trailers and the people who tow them, there is no safe way of auto driving with a trailer.
If it's really an inconvenience then just disconnect the wiring harness.
It's very easy to accidentally open the frunk or tailgate or set off the panic alarm when the key is in your pocket. I've done this a few times over the last 1.5 years.
