60+ in some instances so I would look for 75 or above. I have a Powermax pmbc-75 that has gotten me through several marathon (6hr+) sessions. It's a bit cheaper at ~$300 but can be had lowerif you have a spare set of good cables to donate. Should also be noted that the pl6100 requires a 20 amp...
Thanks. Hadn't even thought of that. And figure I might as well get some use out of the current one for a while to justify the burn on my thumb. :cwl:
My boards were opposite of the amazon picture. The A side had a male connector so I have that plugged into the comma harness. Then have the...
yeah I don't have the comma power connected since I already have a dash cam and will probably take the comma with me. Only downside to not using it is some of the settings can only be changed when the truck is off. Fine if you're taking the comma in with you though but can't change anything on...
Good to know. Have mine with the 360 plugged into the harness at the IPMA. Received the 3d printed box for the board and quick connect mount today. Thanks again to @Ajzride. Just have to find time to get it all mounted up now.
Well I'm now the proud owner of a bazillion 360 ohm resisters. Apparently I can't tell the difference between a 2 and a 10 so had it in the wrong holes initially but got that straightened out and all is right with the world again. Only burned my finger once! PCB case and quick...
Yeah I went for Computer Science so way above my paygrade. Props to yall for even tackling it. I did at least grab the pinless board after you posted the pic the other day since it looked better. Put in the 120 just for giggles and my dash didn't look like a Christmas tree so heading in the...
Same thing I noticed with the Wolfbox. Mounted it temporarily by sticking the 3m on the bracket to a Sticker Shield from Amazon. Waiting on the quick disconnect mount but it sounds like it may position it to where it's bit more out of view for me since it sticks out a bit.
yeah I figured it should work since others have done it but didn't want to chance it. Also didn't think about installing open pilot first until I went outside and had the same issue.
@Jesse-Infotainment any idea on the 25's?
Mine came in today. Mounted it temporarily using a sticker shield to mount the standoff to so I could easily remove it when the quick disconnect bracket gets here. Will see how long it holds on before falling. Only took a short drive to calibrate but...
yeah some have used two cl2320's piggy backed but that's still only 40 amps but the non-usb updates like the IPMA can pull 60amps+ for 2 hours. Some have used a 20 to 15 adapter on the pl6100 similar to AC WORKS Plug Adapter 15 Amp Household Plug to 20 Amp T-Blade Female Outlet Adapter (NEMA...
Also on the APIM for 25's as well. You can enable the screen on 22-24s in Forscan but the settings don't stick. oh well at least it shows the charge rate
Heck look at how much we paid for a beta truck. lol. Seems the Comma does have a ceiling on what it's capable of though due to Ford's steering algorithms but figured what the heck since it was on sale. Mine will be here Thursday along with the pcb board and resistors to get rid of the errors on...
Curious myself. I have a Wolfbox digital rear view mirror that fits over the factory mirror. Comma is supposed to be here Thursday so I'll have to see if it obstructs the front camera of the wolfbox any.
