When you get a minute would you give my vin a check please? 1FTVW1EV3NWG03253
My last update failed while it was at the dealer for a few weeks - that was the audio-dc. I got an email today that might indicate I got another update (nothing on the screen) or will be getting one, or Ford has...
The same - for those that didn't get it, but want to be sad with the rest of us the email is below.
I went from May to June.
I know we likely don't need a million "I got the email", but I will work on updating the spreadsheet for those that do reply and note your changed dates.
I did make changes, I made the dog bone discussed in other places and removed the ground on the connection to the truck. This was my reference in my post about I wouldn't get deeper into the safety of what I did as you get a divided camp on this.
Sorry to hear of that kind of experience. Try 1-800-392-3673 and ask for the BEV team. They've been known to get alternate transportation arranged and even pay for gas for a rental while yours is in the shop.
I did, I've come a long way since January.
I opted to back feed my panel using the 14-50 plug I had installed for a portable EVSE/charger. To use the truck power I flip my panel main off, connect my cable from the 14-50 back to the truck 14-30 and turn on pro power. So no further...
Any chance that matte side still has a factory film on it that needs to be removed?
Or does a Pro/XLT have a different panel than a Lariat? Could truly be mismatched.
The sad part about it, I can guarantee you if the pillars look like that, so does the rest of your paint. And no, it did not leave the factory like that. I'm almost certain the pillars come with film on them and should be scratch free.
I had a couple of scratches on mine, nothing like what...
It's hard to know where `20 years went, but Marks HD station and the HD TiVo were incredible compared to what we had watched for many years before that. That box helped usher in the way we watch TV today.
A lot of good info on how this station likely didn't cost what the dealer says, but also proof showing that none of this is really cheap, like a home charger and home charging rates.
The bottom line is without a LOT of volume none of these companies are going to make money for a long time...
I'm going out on a limb that you are in the group that got slightly screwed over by the shipping provider. ~300 were shipped incorrectly to some order numbers up in the 7XXX's. Had those gone to next sequential order we would have made it up to about 1300 maybe 1350. We don't have...
Also Ford adds to the config / As Built file with some updates. If you have a new truck that doesn't have a lot of updates and use an As Built from another truck with updates you could get mis-matches.
I believe some people would load a config from another truck, I would avoid that, just...
This is simply Ford playing crazy games and telling you that you didn't pay enough for your truck to be able to open without unlocking first.
Lariat and Platinum have additional bluetooth receivers and will open with the press of the button even when the truck is locked where the Pro and XLT...
What exactly are you looking for? As Built from the factory will be VERY different than As Built of the same truck today. They've added a ton of information to the configs over the last couple of years. Also my As Built has had Forscan changes made to it.
If you can maybe clarify...
Maybe they closed the initial request so it doesn't look like the clock is ticking and they'll open another when the module arrives? I'm sure I'm stirring the pot there and hopeful that isn't what happened.
You can always call the BEV line. I was lucky and didn't feel I needed them, but someone had posted in one of the threads how that team had kept them up to date. So honestly I did call them one day. I asked what the status of the module was, the EV person said they would get me an update...
I got very tired of the issue, CarPlay just connecting a portion of the time. I disconnected it, reconnected and chose wired only. It's only a slight pain to plug the phone in each time, but it has relieved the stress of me cussing most every time I drive the truck.
There are a couple of...
Agree - that there is very unequal air flow from the vents. Truly the Auto, even with 3 levels of fan, is a bad implementation. Manual override is pretty much required to get a decent speed. For the number of years we've had to refine auto AC, Ford has found a way to lose their way.
