Almost all notifications on iOS are 48 hours behind. You aren't doing anything wrong, it is just how Ford's software works. They are working on a new version of the app, but I'm not expecting much improvement.
Did you get other pics, like where the Magic Dock typically is stored? That is a v4 and have not seen one of those with a Magic Dock. All previous pictures are of v3. When not in use does the wand stay plug into the Magic Dock?
I'm thinking it has been noted that there could be air in the system and as that works it way out, it will empty the reservoir. Thinking they needed to give better instructions to check it or stop back by.
Well - end of the day Saturday, I don't figure we'll have any more changes in status this weekend.
We have 3 winners with deliveries today. Two I had order numbers for and are highlighted in the list. Looks evident that group around 7850 - 8100 or so jumped the gun for delivery, but...
Not all dates are exact - I had to guess based on what was posted, but truly all shipping notices so far are for either April 8th or 9th based on 2 day Fedex shipping.
We likely have enough feedback that the first 500-600 could be shipping and then for some reason a weird jump to the high...
Added a few new orders and I think I've captured those that noted they either had an email or update in their Fed Ex account. As much as the ordering process created a beautiful sequential ordering number, it doesn't look like shipping is going to follow that at all.
I figure the communication through the system and to the trucks is too slow. All you truly need is a single icon. It should show the status of what the truck currently is - Locked or Unlocked. Touching it should do the opposite. That is if all worked well and were decently quick...
I guess it may be unknown if you haven't used any kind of adapter or a Tesla SC with a Magic Dock, but anyone that makes a video longer than 45 seconds to demonstrate how to use this adapter is wasting our time.
An update on my truck - it is at the same dealer as @bmwhitetx. Mine has been in now for almost 2 weeks. The dealer did their due diligence and truly the battery module was in range for the FDRS test, but it was right on the edge. Ford engineering weighed in and I'm getting a module replaced...
I am glad that my updated spreadsheet could kick off todays' post firestorm ! :)
Either way - for those of you that get a tracking number with a solid estimated arrival date or find it on your porch, pass those dates on. I'll try to keep up with the actual delivery dates.
The heat pumps likely take care of 99% of the use cases in the US and Canada, but most here wanted to diss it pretty bad when Tesla added it and had some news reports of it not taking care of the car in cold climate. I'm sure the technology is vastly improved and works 100% of the time now...
Don't want to derail, but FSD is is very impressive compared to past versions. Based on my experience with BC I'm Tesla all day long. And now we also see how Ford is delivering right on Tesla's timelines - never on time from their estimates.
