Interesting, so far the research I've done on the Pro's 6 speaker system is that there are only 4 audio outputs from the head unit. I figured the Front Door and Front Tweeter must've had a crossover somewhere. If the signal is straight to the front door speaker (without a crossover) I can just...
So, I'm about to install my new component speakers in the front of my Pro (weather is nicer again). I'm stuck on a single issue. I was going to utilize the wiring in the truck to save time however I can figure out where the tweeter and front door speakers split. There is a single output going to...
My thoughts exactly. I don't miss the scales and personally, the money I saved on them being deleted has given me justification to add other mods (which is a dangerous thing).
Unfortunately no. The dealer blamed it on an OBD device I have in my truck (lowers my Registration fees in my state). That 99% isn't the case though or there are bugger issues.
I think they may pull one of my modules and send it back to the mothership for analysis.
Reading back through these I had skipped over the part where you mentioned you also tried EVgo in a follow up post.
I stand corrected, I apologize, it looks like it is your truck and not necessarily EA as you have tried multiple DCFC. I'm sorry.
I hope the dealer/Ford can give you a clear...
All good buddy, it wasn't a personal attack. I know you mean well. That's why I shared my EA experience.
Just notice that a small subset of (isolated) issues get turned into people slandering the truck.
The only reason I mentioned anything is people on Facebook (and elsewhere) seem to think these trucks are plagued with problems. They really aren't. In your case the issue was EA...
Your title is deceitful, that's all I'm inferring (you want people to click in, I get it). It's not really semantics. You were able to drive to a dealer...
There have been people actually stranded at DC charging stations because EA fried their truck.
This also seems like an EA issue, not a...
I get what you're saying. I would gladly take a ER Lariat over my SR Pro...but not if I had to pay for it.
The SR Pro is a Unicorn, especially since we all paid under $50k for it. For the money it is absolutely, without a doubt, the best EV on the market.
The big screen on the higher trims...
Yep, that was her experience as well.
The Rivian is fun to drive (despite being faster on paper the accelration felt the same as the Lightning, definitely turns better), but I preferred my Pro Lightning over that Rivian.
Size matters.
For what it's worth, Rivian has their own problems. Long waits on physical repairs being one of them (neighbor has one that is going on 3 months waiting for a repair). Us having the ability to take our vehicles to any Ford Service center is a huge plus.
If Auto-Updates do worry you, leave off...
