The 2023 models have many features that Ford removed on the 2024.
You likely got a very good value on your purchase.
The story on the heat pump for the 2024's has yet to be told. Won't know till after this winter how much of an impact it has.
Believe having a Departure time of 4:30 am will override your normal Charging time window.
If you don't have a Departure time set, then the truck will only charge during the Charge times you have set. In this case it may not have enough time to get to your target by 5AM and will stop...
Great. Hope they keep rolling in for you.
BTW, the Recurring Update Schedule time is best set to a time when you likely won't be driving the truck. A few updates don't allow the truck to be driven when they are installed.
Most folks set it around 1AM.
That said, the 2:15 PM time you...
No worries. Looks like the Washington, PA Ford dealership has been on Plug Share for a few months already. Has been getting good reviews since April 2024.
Seems Ford has changed the CCS cover on the 2024 Flash model (likely all 2024s).
They don't appear to use a magnet, but instead have rubber cups that go over the pin locations to hold the cover in place.
Noticeable when you go to open the CCS cover as it feels more snug.
Plug Share has always been for users to share known locations, not so much the owners.
I am pretty sure if they charged money for your session (not free), then they would like it to be used as much as possible.
It's OK if you don't want to share the location with others.
Hopefully someone...
Don't believe that is true. It seems the truck only has the one chiller. With Max Tow you get an additional compressor , but no additional chiller.
The chiller is placed on passenger side of 12v battery if non-Max tow. The chiller is on driver's side of 12v battery if you have the Max Tow...

Still have my Tesla mobile charger (same handle as at a supercharger). When the A2Z Typhoon adapter arrived I used my Tesla handle to practice with it a few times. It was a stiff fit, but got better after some use.
When I had a chance to use it at a Supercharger I knew what to expect and...

The part we are talking about is a "chiller". Every Lightning has one. It is on the passenger side of 12v battery and connects to the single compressor. This single compressor controls temps for cabin, battery and motors.
For trucks with Max Tow option, the chiller instead connects to a 2nd...
