It's a mystery.
No cooler on the drivers side for me.
Maybe this is an easy way to see if a truck has max tow.
Cooler on passenger side of 12 v battery = No max tow.
Cooler on drivers side of 12 v battery = Yes Max tow.
Here is a wider photo:
Would be nice to have all 3 modes: Pet, Camp , and Car Wash mode.
Hate watching my truck lock/unlock multiple times while spray washing in the car wash bay.
My VW ID4 had an easy way to temporarily disable the touch sensitive door locks while washing the car. No luck finding this feature...
Believe it also locks out the window switches, turns on interior camera so your pet can be monitored remotely and displays the interior temp on the "Big Screen".
The A2Z adapter only works on V3 and V4 Tesla Superchargers. Almost 1/2 the Tesla Supercharger locations are V2 or older.
Use the Tesla app to find a compatible location and try it again.
Take the money.
Then take your time to buy the truck you want, from the dealer you want and for the price you like.
Also, you may be eligible for another tax credit on your new purchase.
Got the ECG 24-2.4.9 update today as well. My last update was over 2 months ago (4-16-2024).
Also got a notice in the Ford Pass app (main screen) after I drove the truck. May have installed the update while I was driving. Just happened to check because of these recent posts.
I wonder if the Rivian adapters look just like the Ford adapters?
BTW, Tom (State of Charge) said the Ford adapters are Made in USA.
A2Z and Lectron are made in China.
Seems like there should be a case for that. Case in point A2Z does come with one.
Best case scenario would be to reuse one around the house. A basket case may work as well.
But just in case you don't have one, the case linked above looks nice.
I rest my case.
Case closed. :)
I don't know if the truck itself can limit the charging amps on 120v.
There are some EVSE that have a TT30 pigtail and can output 24 amps on 120v. (J+Booster, Tesla after market). Not sure if any members have tried these and what their results were.
All good tips.
BTW, a 30 amp outlet at a campground is only 120 volts. So it would only charge a bit faster than a regular 120 volt 15 amp outlet. Probably not worth trouble finding an adapter and a charger that can work on the 30 amp. Now the 50 amps are all 240 volts and the better way...
I was able to find a used beeper with the female plug still attached on eBay. After it arrived I opened it up to get a look. (Wanted to keep my original part in good order in case I need it later).
Unfortunately this part is a bit rusty inside. The ad said it came from a 2017 Subaru...
