you’ll be noticed in one for sure. Some people really need that. I like how incognito the lightning is, though i was turning heads in Seattle proper last week. I think the television spots are starting to raise awareness and the fact you can actually get your hands in one is helping.
My foot is wide enough I sometimes feel the accelerator pedal when applying the brake. I’ve driven standard for 25 years, so I’m used to narrow pedals. I wish they were a bit farther apart in the lightning.
Should improve efficiency during moderate temperatures, so should give most folks on the coasts and the south some better numbers. Won’t help for the northern plains though, that’s tough country for EVs.

Thank you for this. I went out last night to change these and couldn’t find them. They just weren’t there. Went through all the menus multiple times…. I’ll check tonight and see if it’s missing still.
It’s to be seen if superchargers are more reliable because
a) Tesla needs them to be to sell cars and maintains them when they break
b) Tesla designs superior charging hardware
CCS wouldn’t be a big deal from the consumers point of view if fast chargers, namely EA’s, weren’t so unreliable. If...
I thought mine looked a bit off. I need to provide the feedback that it doesn’t stick far enough away from the bumper to use all the bolts. I’m only using 3 and slapped some washers on the front of one side to provide enough clearance to the bumper. What’s your bumper clearance look like?
