I just got a set of Falken Wildpeak A/T3W in LT275/60R20 on the stock rims. They are considerably heavier (58 lbs) than the stock Hankook AT tires, and there seems to be a bit of a range hit - but it just turned cold here, too, so it's hard to tell how much. A little road noise, but nothing...
Just had the dealer drop the truck off - new front Frunk button, including the wiring harness for it (broken connector or some such), so a little spendy but it works like a charm. Dealer did all the outstanding recall stuff, picked up and dropped off.
My frunk works fine with the fob, dash button and PAAK. Front grille button does nothing. I assume it's a bad switch; waiting on the dealer to diagnose/replace.
Going in for that and a few recall items next week - love the new pick up/drop off service!
My frunk button is dead. Stopped working somewhere between 36K and 40K miles (of course).
Inside works, key fob works, phone works. unlocked, doors open, windows down, whatever - the outside button does nothing.
Sometimes, it sounds like a relay clicks, just once, when the button is pressed...
I have done all those things, without success. Tried immediately after a 60-mile commute last night and again this morning. Just now it failed with the battery charger connected.
I have a Grizzl-e at home (where the available circuit limits me to 24 amp charging), a ClipperCreek HCS-80 at work, and a Chargepoint Home Flex at the country place (where the local utility provides a discount for off-peak charging).
they are all great. The HCS-80 would be overkill for a home...
Mine doesn't "pop" like that - more of a loud "click," But it does it almost every time i press the brake pedal, even a litte (when I assume regen is doing all the "braking". Dealer thought it was the torque reversal issue (or was just humoring me) and did the TSB repair, with no noticeable...
Took me several tries to calibrate mine as well. I found that I needed a big parking lot with lots of room to maneuver, and consistent lighting - the system does not like going in and out of shade/sunlight.
Two people at my dealer asked about an oil change. But at least nobody asked when I had to bring it back two days later when the parts were supposed to be there, or when they called to say it wouldn’t be ready until the next day when the rest (probably all) of the parts arrived.
We will see...
I think you can tell the truck whether or not to adjust based on changes to the speed limit, and if you allow it to adjust, you can set the tolerance +/- the speed limit. Sounds like you are set at +10.
Hey @Ford Motor Company: how about a couple of tolerance settings, so we can be at/below...
I called Ford one day last fall, when others were getting updates and I hadn't had any since my June delivery. The Ford rep I spoke with located the truck in her system, and then told me that "coincidentally" the PAAK update had just started downloading and would be ready in 20 minutes. I have...
I have a Chargepoint CPH50 on a 60 amp circuit (hard wired; some jurisdictions require a disconnect near the charger) delivering 48 amps to the truck. Plenty of charging speed for my purposes. It is not the most robust unit out there, but seems to be tough enough. At work I have a...
The OEM "All Terrain" tires are plenty quiet and I get 2.4 miles/kwh over the past 18K miles, so no range hit. They aren't agressive looking at all, but they do fine on dirt/gravel roads and are good in a few inches of unplowed snow. Not as good in the snow as the K02's on my old GMC pickup...
