itās confusing because The Ford Pass app is showing DC kW going into the battery - not AC kW coming from the EVSE.
So the app gives the view from the DC/battery side of the AC/DC charger/inverter
High voltage battery voltage ~365v
High voltage battery charging amperage ~28A
365v*28A=10.2kW DC...
The solar system needs to be off. Otherwise, it will try to synchronize phase with the trucks generator and backfeed power into it.
also, you would want to drop the ground pin and keep the neutral if youāre trying to bypass the bonded neutral on the truck side. Which I do not recommend doing...
The numbers are not overall truck software versions. So, no need to go in order. The numbers are individual module update packages in a series. Each update targets a different module or truck sub-system. There is no central computer and overall software update like Tesla or iPhone has...
I got this update the end of last week. Took a few days of 12v charging and BMS resets...finally went through this morning.
After a lot of messing around I think I have found a consistent process to get difficult updates to complete
1) Charge the Low Voltage Battery for 6-8hrs, until it's...
the field support team in CA is pretty solid. Your dealer service team sounds pretty green and not making this a priority. Once ford corp gets involved it should move much faster. You can contact the dedicated ford ev team to get things moving.
Thought this thread was about hard on pills for a sec
Ford will assign a field support tech to figure it out. If itās in the shop more than 30 days you can ask for a buyback.
Thatās it really
why would your insurance be involved at all? I wouldnāt even call them.
The dealer damaged the truck so you get to choose where it is repaired. End of story. If they disagree then get a lawyer.
I would just ask for a new truck. This is a dealership so they can facilitate that for no effort on...
holiday network freeze has been lifted. Got 6.8.0 yesterday.
My BMS is the recalled part and has been acting funky lately. All of a sudden about a week ago my LVB started reporting 10-15% lower than actual (tested resting voltage several times and was typically showing 12.7v+ /80%+-). I have...
FYI, the little round brown balls are not nuts, itās turds
In my experience rodents usually get in from above. They drop on the hood or roof from a tree, fence or shelf. Less likely a rodent climbs up suspension and in from below.
Just double checking - You are holding the little round button on the frunk itself? not the button in the cab right?
Assuming you've done that... the only other thing I would try is pulling the negative 12v battery cable for an hour or two. Reconnect the 12v battery and let the truck boot...
Pop the frunk and then manually push it all the way open. Then press and hold the close button, keep holding until it beeps.
This is a feature so you can prevent the frunk from opening to high and hitting something. For example if you have a low ceiling garage.
you had a loose pin in one of the connectors. The pins can be reseated if they are not damaged and youāre good to go. Probably just a bad install at the connector or harness factory.
Sounds like a smart tech based on their notes. Wish more were like this.
There is no truck software version like Tesla or an iPhone would have.
Ford issues āUpdatesā to various modules in the truck with small incremental tweaks. Theses updates are called Ford Power Upās and they are numbered X.x.x like a software version. However each update is a standalone update...
