what happens if you dont take delivery?

You either have to return it, or they bill you (you have to put in your credit card info when you initially order it.)

The idea is that you can get it installed and set up so it’s all ready to go when you take delivery of your truck.

I totally forgot that I even ordered it or I would have cancelled as I’m leaning towards not taking delivery.

I’m really stuck. If it doesn’t hurry up and my trade loses any more value I might be up a creek. On the flip side the monthly payment difference will only be $200 a month and I’m 100% certain the truck is with that to me( not to mention 100 gallons less of fuel a month)

Happy Friday everyone. I ran through all the VINs I had and no one has seen a status change, which is expected at this point. I've included a link to my excel file in my signature if you'd like to take a peep. I also threw in TaxManHog's data and have been building various pivots to try and figure out when we can expect to see status changes based on historical data. Since the beginning of September we have seen the In Production to Built come down significantly and has held steady at an average of 10 days. Now the MY22 data may be completely invalid for tracking MY23 but I'm hoping to start seeing some of us move to a built status as soon as the beginning of November. The 10 day mark would land us on Sunday, 10/30, but It seems that there is a few days delay between the truck being built and the order tracking status actually changing.

If you are not on the list below and are part of the 10/17 build group, please send me either your VIN or at the very least your various dates. The more data we have the better we can predict when our trucks will be delivered.

Both of you have an earlier blend date than skattch but have Lariat trims. Would love to hear if you have been built as well, or if skattch moved ahead because he has a platinum.

My In Production date was 10/24. As of now its sitting on Ramp 51 on a chip hold. I been led to believe that it will take anywhere from 1 -2 weeks before its shipped.

Someone in 10/24 week is also on chip hold. XLT with Max Tow and Tow Tech, like you. Maybe one of those options is the problem?

I went ahead and chatted with Ford support this morning as well. I am still "In Production" (Duh) and my "Estimated Time of Arrival" is still November 16-22. The vehicle is currently located at Ramp 51, Flat Rock, MI. I asked the rep if there was a micro-chip hold on the vehicle and they confired that there was. I also asked for clarification on what exactly "Estimated Time of Arrival" meant and was told it is the estimated date that production will be completed and can be assigned for transit to the dealer.

Since we are all the first batch of MY23s, it's hard to gauge what will happen but if we look at the last few batches of MY22s, we can see that it's taking about 10 days to go from "In Production" to "Built", so we will see if that holds true for us or if there is a new chip shortage that will truly delay some of us till mid-November.

I wondered what the Flat Rock Ramp 51 was. My '22 is there, too, in-production since 10/19, with an ETA update due on 11/5/22. Is also a Lariat, ER battery, Max Tow Package.

Interesting - this implies that the 2022's on chip hold are due to a feature that was left out of the 23's.

My Blend date was 10/18, and 81 out of 489
