Oddly theyve never even asked for a picture of my car. But I've asked multiple times if my offer is final and they said yes. I'm at the point where I think I'm waiting for documents to arrive, and I filled out a form for best pick up times. At one point someone did say my offer was approved .. I'm thinking maybe with all the cars they are processing they just forgot to ask and assumed someone saw it :)
You should be good to go. Use their customer chat if it’s been 5 business days. Also, if there’s a payoff to a lien holder, definitely make sure they get the odometer statement out to close that account.

At the price point we're shopping at, I think it's reasonable to be sorely disappointed that prices in many cases are going up, dealers are engaging in predatory ADM all over the industry, and features are being deleted.
No one is saying one can't be disappointed, although I'd argue the language used by some posters is not really reflective of pure disappointment. But the reality is this: Ford didn't promise a delivery timeframe to any customer, they didn't promise any pricing to any particular reservation holders (and only establish suggested pricing at order time, despite the dealers holding full control here). There's even no evidence of features being "deleted" - the only evidence we've seen is a reduction in the number of locations in which "premium ambient lighting" lights the truck vs. the marketing literature that was posted. Many people are assuming the EV will have all the ICE truck's features - which is a good comparison reference but not reality.

Now I can see how that might be disappointing to someone who really enjoys their ambient lighting, and as I said above I think it's reasonable grounds for a return of the deposit (vs. forfeit of the deposit) in exchange for order cancelation.

It was a few weeks ago that our local news featured a segment on one of the Internet car buying services, warning customers to look carefully at the contract. They had a case where one of the services picked up a car, the deal was supposed to be final and closed, and a couple of weeks later it was claimed that the car had been misrepresented. It got returned to the seller in a horrible condition and they demanded the money back.

They advised people using the services to read through the contract to make sure you're comfortable with the terms and potential scenarios in which the company can reverse the sale later.

Not concerned. My cars in near perfect shape, just some minor scratches outside that would be fixed with two hours and some paint/clear coat.

Driveway gives you money before they take the car.

Other companies, like Vroom, will take the car and then decide how much, or whether or not to pay you. They don't even offer to insure the car while they are transporting it. So the carrier can mess it up and youre on the hook for damanages. For Vroom's process, too much liability so I didn't bother.

Oh snap! I have modules. Blend day 6/14.

Edit to add: 1,147 lines of modules, no tear tag. This happened overnight or this AM. Did not have modules when I checked late last night.

I wake up and check my info in the AM and see who is complaining on the board. I'm a 6/16 Blend so I am thinking BEST case for any info is Friday or next week.

6/16 as well. 6/14 blends getting modules popped means we're coming back down to earth from the 5/23 debacle! For my sanity, I check only once a day! :)

Are you putting in your plate number or vin? or are you just doing a general inquiry?

I checked my trade in value on a few different sites yesterday. Shockingly, Carmax gave me the best number. I was trying to figure out if there's a certain day of the week where sites may offer more, but i'll try your tip. Thanks!
Also look for local "non national" buyers. Where I'm at in SATX we have CarZeus (temp paused right now) and Texas Auto Value. Both wholesalers who give some good pricing.

Is there any type of incentives & interest rate protection for our incoming LIghtnings ?

I read an article and it said:
"Ford & Lincoln’s In-Transit Stock Order Price Protection includes new 2022 in-bound vehicles. The dealer must submit the customer registration for the retail order to Ford’s captive lender between the time a vehicle gains its VIN and the dealer delivery date. Ford makes Price Protection available for situations when a price change occurs from the time of customer registration until the vehicle is invoiced.

Ford and Lincoln also offer Incentive Protection, which differs from Price Protection in that it allows a customer to take advantage of a promotional incentive that was valid at the time of the retail order but expired before the vehicle could be delivered.

Ford and Lincoln also offer a $1,000 Retail Order Bonus to encourage customers to place a factory order and wait for delivery, which can take several months."

I think I saw yours at 36/698 before your bedliner numbers change. I am 35/698 no modules yet but yours gives me something to look forward to!

Mine “popped” as well.
Now what does that mean in terms of delivery? Haha I don’t have the tear tag yet.. is that next? Blend of 6/14 and it’s coming by convoy to NC

@Brotato popped as well, 6/14 blend (no tear, XLT Standard).... Randomly checked the only VIN listed on @TaxmanHog sheet from 6/14. Didn't see anyone else pop yet.

Looking promising for a more streamlined build week!
