I agree on the 6.5' bed. The jump seat would be such a small market demanding that. Most (not all, but most) people don't have 6 people riding in the cab of an F-150.

The 6.5' bed might mess with range too much though...
Cybertruck (if it ever arrives) is supposed to have 6 person seating and 6.5" bed.

If it arrives is very fair.

The use case for a 6 seater truck is just a tiny market.

Agreed (I have 4 kids). My F250SD with leather and 6 person seating is a blessing. The manivan.

1) A new front grill

2) Wing extender for tailgate that will work with the tailgate step

3) A better wireless charging pad that won’t over heat

4) A puddle light that shows the Lightning emblem on the floor

Try a little lightning bolt sticker on the side mirror lights ?

Need an option with a shorter 2-row cab and a/6.5-8' bed for those of us whose kids are grown. Like the SuperCabs of the '90's. I only use second row seating very rarely. Mostly for storage these days. They could shorten the cab and lengthen the bed on the same frame.

I agree. Basically impossible. In my opinion, the 2 things about the lightning that really need to change:
1. Inability to order with front jump seat.
2. No 6.5" bed option.
Ford is obsessed with the stupid, vestigial console shifter.

If they do a 6-seater, they’ll probably do another moronically complicated, motorized system to move it out of the way instead of just having it in the column where it should be in the first place.

If there’s a product to be made to fix it, perhaps a system to make the Pro seats adjustable? Maybe a kit to swap in XLT/Lariat seats if that’s the easiest way? Might need some wiring changes or brackets? Just throwing out ideas.

Just pick up a set from an ICE vehicle at a scrap yard

I don't want to say it's impossible, but it pretty much is. Too much equipment to relocate.

Just need to add the column shifter right, and remove the HVAC duct extension, right? What else would need to be relocated? Here's my photo of the console removed on my lariat.

Much props. Where there is a will there is a way. Or maybe not :)

Is it plug and play? All the electronics in the fancier versions just plug in and work? That would be nice!
I don't know if the Pro still has all the harnesses, however they do make ICE seats with manual lumbar and other adjustments.

The new pickle in the mix is now the Pro has heated seats on the lowest trim of seats possible...
