I'd still love to do this but struggle with figuring out where to source seats (presumably from totaled cars) from around me.
its indeed annoying and most places don't list online. i happened to oddly get mine shipped from a online place and was happy with the experience overall though i did have to go to freight dock to pick them up

i have still been trying to locate a folding center armrest which is also a massive pain

I swapped this out about a month after I got my truck in September 2022.

From what I remember, restoring the config as is from my stock HVAC module the new one didn't work at all. I manually made most of the changes by comparing the spreadsheets from ICE to Lightning and it seems like it's been working fine for over a year. Defrost, AC, Heat, HSW all works.

I have backups of the forscan reads from my stock HVAC module, this stock HVAC module, and the changes I made. I can upload them if interested.

I have seats out of an ICE Lariat that I'm in the process of swapping in so I can't say for certain if HC seats will work yet.

Could you post the backup of your current switch configuration? That'd probably help a few of us getting the ICE switches to work on the BEV.

Does anyone have the wiring diagram of the XLT seats at the C311 and C312 connectors?

I got a set of black lariat seats for my install. Made some progress on the install today. The seats came with the vehicle side pigtail. I de-pinned the necessary wires, extended them, and started the transplant.

need to take a pick and pop out the white retaining piece.

once that is removed, pop off the black and gray pieces on the back side of the connector side.

You will need a pick to break / pop out the gray pins that block the holes. Notice the pin numbering on the gray piece. Then proceed to insert the pins matching the pins from driver to passenger (14,15,22,23,24,25,26,27).

For the driver seat power, I chose to move the power pin at 21 to 20 (pulled pin and reinserted to 20). I then inserted a pin in 21 and ran it over to the passenger seat pin 21 for a spliced in.

I ran a twisted wire pair at driver seat connectors pin 6 and 7 up through center console under the carpet and into the dash up behind to where the climate control panel is. Ran out of daylight to tap the canbus wires there. I’ll tap in when I get the new climate control panel with the cooled / heated buttons. That’ll have to do for another day.

Seats move and function like they should. As of now, no heat or cooling but that is as expected. I’m buying an ICE climate control panel. Hopefully I can get it to work. If I do, I’ll post my exact programming file.

you can just config it for onscreen controls if needed with stoc HVAC, but certainly keep us posted on the ICE hvac if you get that to work.

All right got my install all wrapped up and working with the exception of the HVAC control panel. It hasn't come in yet.

Here are some quick pointers to anyone else that attempts this...

C212 (where you can easily tap into the vehicle's communication system) is directly behind the glove box (was not apparent to me). Just press in the two tabs and it unhinges. Its the connector to the furthest right. For some reason I thought it was behind the HVAC panel so I didn't run enough wiring. I ended up having to extend it a little further.

Here's the exact programming I did...

Download the official Forscan (not a beta) and acquire a trial extended license. Go to https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt and download a lariat lightning file. For the VIN, I googled for a lariat lightning listing that didn't have heated steering wheel (or one that does if you're also going to add that).

Using a Forscan appropriate cable (I used a OBDLink SX), connect to the vehicle and let it scan for all the modules. Find the as built programming section in Forscan and find the HVAC unit. Load the file you downloaded from the ford Asbuilt site and write all.

Then there is one other modules that you will need to write.

I don't have the cooled/heated seat buttons yet so I had to enable the soft button on the touchscreen. To enable this...

I'll keep you guys posted once my ICE HVAC controls when that comes in...

Thank you all for sharing your experiences on getting this going!

I got the ICE control panel to work on the lightning. Heated steering wheel, Ventilated / heated seat buttons as well as the HVAC. M Not sure if I’m allowed to post the forscan configuration file here… PM me and I’ll send it to you
