Hey folks,

I was routing a dash cam wire around the dash trim and gave the front passenger side AC vent (the one just to the right of the upper glove box) a little tug to make some space. It kind of popped out—didn’t break, just came loose—but now I can’t for the life of me get it to pop back in properly.

Before I go forcing it and end up snapping something, does anyone know the correct way to remove and reinstall that vent? Is there a trick to aligning the clips or a hidden latch I’m missing?

Appreciate any help or tips you’ve got!

Thanks,
Carl

I don’t have any experience with that trim, but you might search on YouTube for F150 Lightning dash trim removal/installation.

You may want to reword that to express what looking for.

Good Luck.

Thank you. I’ve looked all over Google and YouTube and couldn’t find exactly what I’m looking for. So hoping someone on here ran into this at some point.
