Hi all, I have 2 cracked tail light lenses, including one with the dreaded "water in radar sensor" issue. Turning off the cross-traffic warning failure alert is a chore I do every few minutes now.

I am not ready to shell out $3k for these lenses.

I am not very psyched to buy red tape at Autozone and make this truck look like it's been fixed with tape.

So: if anyone out there with a 3D printer has tackled this project, how did it go? No question it's a complex one, but :

Anyone working on this, or up for trying?

Printing clear is definitely a challenge. Have you looked into grabbing a used one from Ebay? They're way under MSRP.

Thanks--yes, have looked into it but still finding them $950-1200 without sensor!

Do you want an entire lens or a smaller portion?

A lot of consumer printers are limited in volume, 10" x 10" x 10".

There are larger consumer printers for sure, but not as common.

Is the lens inside that volume?
