I bought the XLT SR in Wave 3 because I can take advantage of my State (CA) & Fed tax incentive to offset the cost. Otherwise I would have waited for the PRO. I can get 7500 Fed and like 2000 state and another 1000 local rebate if I buy the XLT
You make a very strong case for the XLT for those in CA @TheRealDlo !

I forgot about the CA incentives on top of the Feds.
CCFR $750
CVRP $2000 **
SCE $1000

Total after Fed tax credit and state/local incentives = $11,250 off the truck!:D

** Unfortunately due to max MSRP limits on the program, XLT base or Pro trim only ($60K max).:(

I'm still waffling. The XLT just doesn't look like a good deal when held up against the Pro. Maybe if some of the plus features were base XLT.

But the item list is tiny.
I was too until I came to the realization I could:

1) Buy the XLT SR right now OR
2) Be waiting until 2023 or 2024 for the pro and get 0 tax incentive.

Too much unknow & I want a truck in 2022.

Also, buying a EV for 50K is still VERY cheap honestly... Let alone a TRUCK!

Any EV with 230 miles range will cost you a legit $40K+ even for a small car.

Ditto. I wanted the Pro but my number came up and it wasn’t available, so I caved on the XLT SR. I just wanted a basic truck as it’s just for weekend use, but no harm done I guess. Disappointed I couldn’t get the vinyl seats though. So easy to keep clean with dogs.

MA has a $2500 state incentive, unfortunately it’s capped at $50k so even the XLT SR wouldn’t get it. Maybe they’ll increase the cap this year (fingers crossed)?
