Thanks. I guess I was hoping Ford’s numbers for the sold out Pros were b/c they included Fleet purchases and not just those in the first two waves.Ford’s preplanned trim allocation would suggest so. They’d suggested similar amounts of XLTs and Pros will be built, and Pro is already “sold out “.
That’s entirely possible.Thanks. I guess I was hoping Ford’s numbers for the sold out Pros were b/c they included Fleet purchases and not just those in the first two waves.
I think plenty of XLT's are available. Based on the order data input on the Lightning order tracker only two more XLT's have been ordered compared to the 28 Pro's that were ordered. Based on the charts we've seen for allocation, there are about 4x XLT's available compared to Pro's.Any data suggesting XLT trim(s) would be "sold out" for wave 4?
Wave | Pro | Lariat | XLT | Platinum | Total |
Wave One | 28 | 48 | 3 | 5 | 84 |
Percent | 33% | 57% | 4% | 6% | |
Wave Two | 27 | 19 | 1 | 47 | |
Percent | 57% | 40% | 2% | ||
Wave Three | 26 | 8 | 3 | 37 | |
Percent | 70% | 22% | 8% | ||
Total | 28 | 101 | 30 | 9 | 168 |
Percent | 17% | 60% | 18% | 5% |
Note on that chart that the first bar on the left is the XLT SR and the second bar is the PRO. There are only more XLTs than Pros if you add the XLT ER in too.Based on the charts we've seen for allocation, there are about 4x XLT's available compared to Pro's.
There’s also that XLT 311 barNote on that chart that the first bar on the left is the XLT SR and the second bar is the PRO. There are only more XLTs than Pros if you add the XLT ER in too.
Whoops, didn't notice that one.There’s also that XLT 311 bar
My guess is fleet sales are not included in those pre-planned numbers since the Pro model is identified as SR. If the fleet sales were included it seems they would have an ER category, just like they did with the three XLT categories. Just a guessThat’s entirely possible.
I was adding together the three XLT allocations. 312 SR, 312 ER and 311 SR to come up with my 4x compared to the Pro.Note on that chart that the first bar on the left is the XLT SR and the second bar is the PRO. There are only more XLTs than Pros if you add the XLT ER in too.
No such thing as a "typical" dealer. The dealer allocations are a bit of a mystery and appear to include, ZEV states, truck sales volume, and number of reservations as variables. Not sure if the touted loss of allocations for ripping off customers is a real thing, and if it is, how it is being implemented on scummy dealers.Does anyone know what a typical dealer might get this year?
