Alarm Triggered at 12:47 Am

I was just about to fall asleep and my Lightning in my driveway set off the truck‘s alarm. The beeping horn got my attention. The horn stopped and the hazards were flashing for what seemed like about 2-3 more minutes.

This is in the middle of a 5 acre remote property so it’s VERY unlikely that a human ventured onto the property. We do have lots of deer but nothing that the cameras captured at the time of the alarm. This is the first time I have the Lightning at this house at night. We have multiple cameras. About 1 hour before the alarm went off a stray cat was captured walking under the truck. But nothing at the time the alarm was set off.

Could the cat have jumped on the truck and set the alarm off? Here is a picture of the cat about 1 hour before the alarm set off. Another picture of the cat jumping on the porch 1 hour earlier.

Any ideas what set the alarm off?

Hoping this isnt your issue but this was the first sign of rodent damage on my truck... i no longer let up for Squirrels in the road....

I had two false frunk open alarm events on my old 12V battery, none since changing it. How's your 12V?

If it continues to happen, 12v battery or wiring is likely, and has been reported before.
I guess that cat would keep the rodents away from chewing on the truck wiring...

If it is a one off, could be a sonic or electromagnetic effect, like when a UFO comes near or crashes nearby.

I had the same issue as @fhteagle with my 2022 Lariat. I replaced the 12v battery and have not seen it since.

You might prolong the life of yours if you put on a battery tender when not in use.

Crashes???? I thought they looked for people that are isolated on at least 5 acres so as not to have witnesses of their abductions and probing.

Sometimes they show up at nuclear power plants or missile installations, naval maneuvers, commercial airports, play chicken with jet planes, and so forth...maybe teenage ETs running amok...but sometimes they crash the UFO, which causes parental insurance to go up! We have a whole warehouse full of parts from the crashes being maintained by Bigelow Aerospace as I recall...

Hi, probably kind of a long shot but I had something similar happen recently on another vehicle that had a door latch sensor starting to fail, mine went off at about 2 AM, I think with the changing temperature of night it somehow mistakenly thought that a door had come open while it was locked and triggered the alarm. Anyway just an idea.

Thank you tor the response. It has not gone off again since that one time but I will keep an eye out for a Failing door switch.
