Just had my windshield replaced - truck is 2 months old, and I'm windshield poor again (always "out of pocket" cause there's just not a good insurance plan - I had one where for $161 per 6 months windshield replacement was "free" but that company went sky high so we switched to State Farm, but no WS plan!) Anyway, had the mobile WS repair guys come to house, and they of course needed my FOB - right away I thought, OK, here's an easy way to steal my FOB "program" so my wheels started turning about ANTI THEFT issues.

1. So, #1 does the FORD APP track our LIGHTNINGS?
2. Does anyone use a Lojack, or similar?
3. Are EV's even desirable to STEAL?
4. Does anyone still use a CLUB to lock the steering wheel?
5. Any way to encrypt or change the FOB program?
6. Any way to turn off the wireless unlocking and turn back on?
7. Thoughts on the potential for thieves to copy our FOBS in a commercial parking lot - what are the dynamics?

Anyway, my PARANOIA kicking in - I hope for NAUGHT - but better PRO ACTIVE than SORRY.
I am not worried about someone coming to my house to steal my LIGHTNING - (we're pretty remote & have cameras, so I'd be notified quickly) but generally want to be prepared.

Let me know what you know.... thank you.

1, yes
2, probably
3, dependent on the objective of the thief
4, haven't seen one in forever
5, sure, but then the truck wouldn't respond
6, faraday cage
7, theoretically possible with a flipper zero
