is there a support line to call to discuss 4.2.1 bugs and issues? is this simply up to the dealer to sort out?

My system has been anything but reliable since the latest update.

it lost my trailer history, but yet somehow thinks I HAVE a trailer hooked up? It is adjusting the range estimate for the phantom trailer.

FCSP pairing was lost so no more home backup power.

needless to say, i'm looking to revert to 4.1.1 or reinstall 4.2.1.

There is a “Provide feedback” in settings where you can send a message to Ford. I don‘t recall the exact path.

Re-pair your charge station an clear your trailer data and input it again or reset everything. These "bugs" happen when things are updating. If reseting doesn't work then do a 12v disconnect, if that doesn't work then bring to dealer, they can update but won't roll it back, too many actual bug fixes in that one.

Regarding the trailer issue. I have towed twice. The first time, I named my trailer, entered the data, etc. When I disconnected, the truck detected the disconnect and went back to normal mode -GOM jumped almost 100 miles.

The next time, I selected my saved trailer, all good. But after I disconnected, the truck thought it was still connected. I opened the towing app and manually selected no trailer. You might try that.

I presume reseting everything literally resets EVERYTHING PAAK, Profiles, the whole nine yards?

Safe to assume so, I haven't used paak so I can't comment on whether it gets reset also.

Which “reset”?
There is a Sync reset. You don’t lose anything.
Pull fuse 32 resets the BCM. The only thing I lost was reset of the seatbelt warning.
12V disconnect reset. I haven’t done this, but there are threads on here with details. I wouldn’t expect you to lose those things you mention.
Master reset - what it says….resets basically everything.

Reporting here can be one of the best ways. It will determine if only you are having the problem or if it is more wide spread. We also happen to have some incognito folk here that have direct lines into the teams at Ford that make this stuff happen. They are watching.
