Auto Unlock on rear doors

If you grab a handle on a door other than the driver it unlocks all so usually if I have passengers I'll grab the back door first then open my door.

I was wondering the other day ... if I'm sitting inside the truck, so the key and phone are within range of the truck; what happens when someone grabs an outside handle? Will it unlock just like when I grab it?

E.g. I jump in, hit the lock button on the door (if I can remember that is where it is), and the bad guy (who is trying to steal my groceries) grabs the passenger handle. Or presses the Frunk release.

No. When I pick up passengers, they can’t get in unless I press the unlock button or shut the truck off.
