Very excited as I think it looks as great as I was hoping. It's just like my Space White with a slightly more brown hue. Looks great with blending in the light bar. My XLT spec will look just like this. Can't wait for production. Dealer said its on 12/2 ( week of 11/28 production).

Also, again, this looks nothing like Space White. No metallic, and it's gray.

I mean, I guess it looks like Agate Black, just lighter...

I do know, from experience, every shade between white/gray/silver will look the same on an overcast rainy day.

The above pic is SWM and Avalanche. I get you want to argue about it. They are similar enough. Avalanche was touted as a replacement for SWM. Granted it is not metallic, but it is close enough. I really wish SWM was added as its a fantastic color, but this will be a nice compromise for most of us. More importantly here are the first pics of it in the wild outside of a testing vehicle.

I, also, like Star White and would have chose that.

I also don't want to argue, I just hope people don't pick Avalanche thinking they are getting a Star White replacement.

I live in Oregon and know from buying 3 White vehicles that on a rainy day in the PNW every shade of White, Gray, and Silver looks the same.

If you are saying that to you this looks close enough to SWM that you like it...AWESOME. I'm happy you found a color you like, sincerely.

I've just done alot of research, in and out of these forums, and hope to help others when possible. I also can be very nitpicky (and I apologize for that), that's why in the early conversation about the Avalanche color I praised and thanked the poster who posted a color corrected photo of an Avalanche truck.

Edit: 2022 color Space White is what I meant. Sorry.

Ok you're confusing me with your SWM abbreviation. For 2023 ICE F-150, there are Star White Metallic (AZ) and Avalanche Gray (DE). For 2022 there was also Space White Metallic (A3) which to me is probably very similar to Avalanche Gray. So what are the pictures above?

Ha, no worries I was actually referring to both you and @256fail posts, I should have clarified. I assumed you were both talking Space White (I really liked that color when I saw it on an ICE F-150) but then Star White got tossed in there.

I would've absolutely paid to put Space White on the 2023 Pro I ordered. My wife made it very clear I was not allowed to buy another matte white truck...and Avalanche won. Big stretch there...I know. (I'm hoping I like it as much as I think I will)

I like the new Azure too, but my trucks are "beat 'em up" family trucks. I prefer light colors that tend to hide scratches and dirt a little better, even though I'd actually prefer more colorful shades for a "no kids, no dogs" Dad truck.

That being said, I also liked the red as I thought it makes the black accents on the Pro kind of have a Raptor look to it (so take that as you will).

I wasn’t even thinking about star white.. sorry I was referencing Space white metallic the whole time. Pics above are Avalanche next to a Space white metallic.

Avalanche Pro, Tow Tech, Max Tow, 9.6kW PPO

Now to figure out when I can make the trip from Florida to Iowa to get it!
