Unfortunately, I have had this issue. It took over a month to diagnose due to the dealership having a policy that they could not drive customer vehicles after hours. Fortunately I was able to provide footage to the dealership from my dash cam of the issue. In my case the headlight itself had to be replaced.hello I have a 2022 lightning platinum, while driving at night a new issue has recently started with my high beams. As i come out of a left turn on a curve or go around a right hand curve my brights flicker or twitch. This does not happen going straight or left, this does happen with regular headlights. The lights are auto switch from low to high but the flicker happens on a dark road with no oncoming traffic. This is not the automatic hi/low switching. Has anyone else seen this issue and had it diagnosed. I am worried that it is the beginning of a worse problem
First we had to determine if it was one or both headlights flickering. To do this I covered each of the headlights, one at a time, and drove on a private road. In my case it was only the driver side. Next, in order to determine if it was the headlight or the control module the dealer switched the right and left control modules to see if the problem switched sides. I then had to repeat the previous test and was able to determine that the problem was still on the drivers side. After that they were able to replace the headlight under my extended warranty. I'm glad that I had opted for the LED lighting option when I purchased my extended warranty, otherwise this issue might not have been covered.
I wish you luck in getting this issue resolved quickly.
