I have a friend who has a pending reservation (presumably for a 2023 order) with a defaulted California dealer, however he registers all of his vehicles in Nevada and so would like to switch dealers. Anyone have a recommendation of a dealer in NV who is treating them right (no ADM, etc.). Any help is much appreciated!

I have been dealing with Joe in Sales at Friendly Ford in Las Vegas.
In Service I deal with Brian
I purchased my 2021 Mach E Premium in Austin TX. I live in
Vegas and any updates or recalls have been done by Friendly.
No issues because I didn't purchase from them. I usually contact
Brian with what Needs to be done and set an appointment, generally
within one to two weeks on my day off. Usually finished that day or the next.
The only time it took longer was when they were doing the windshield. Mine
was one of the first ones they did and it broke. New one was ordered and
installed no problem.
I presently have an XLT Lightning ordered through them which is supposed
to be here between the 8th and 14th of January. As far as I am aware any
ordered vehicles are MSRP. If there is one that did not get picked up by the
person who ordered it, or something that gets traded in, then they jack the
price up. Haven't taken delivery of a new vehicle from them since the 1980s
but am not anticipating ( HOPING ) any funny business from them.
Not sure if it would be acceptable to post Joe's phone number here so I won't.
If anyone wishes to contact me directly, I will share.

Joe Nazmi? That's who I worked with on my Platinum. Picked it up around Thanksgiving.

He was efficient and responsive. But don't let him/them trick you into filling out a credit app under the guise of OFAC. They do not need anything other than your name to run you under OFAC. They were very pushy about this part.

Be sure to be clear about opting out of all the little add-ons that they just pile on. Window etching and stuff.

Other than that, once they saw that I wasn't going to budge on that stuff, everything went smoothly.

To elaborate on the OFAC thing:

They have to run your name against a database of known bad guys. There is no form needed for this. They already have a copy of your drivers license, and that has everything they need to run it. But it has apparently become common practice for dealers to have you just fill out your details on a credit application (even if you are bringing your own financing). They will then run your credit, so they can try to sell you on their financing instead. My dealer was really pushy about this. At one point, they were just like "Just put your name on it, that's all we need". They literally already had a copy of my NV DL (with Real ID holo). The more they pushed on this, the more I knew that it was shady. So I did some quick googling while I was sitting there, and confirmed that yes, they do not need any special paperwork. They literally just go to a web portal, and check your name against a list.

Anyway, I meant to actually come here and put up a dedicated post on this subject.
