Clunk from rear drive, need comparison please

Maybe that is what 'normal' sounds like in the Lightning?

Does it clunk when accelerating/decelerating or going from drive to slowing down engaging the regen?
If not noticeably loud then I guess normal/no issue.

There have been a few rear drive train problems reported on the forum and elsewhere (leaking fluid from motor, etc.).

And some have suggest changing the related lube earlier than the maintenance recommendation if driven hard as a precaution.

I have no perfectly level ground convenient to me to test my truck, but I haven't noticed anything unusual when driving - I never tried moving the truck manually after parking.

I never noticed anything, no noises when driving. The only reason I did the test was to verify if my truck did the same thing as the OP.
So, obviously, this could be perfectly normal.

Yea when I looked for reports of the 'clunk' sound in Lightnings it suggested that some owners had noticed it and if it wasn't 'loud' then it was normal...not exactly definitive or precise 'loud' is somewhat indefinite and very subjective.

And compared to some of the 'clunkers' Ive driven in the past...
