Connected Navigation in the truck uses elevation and other factors like traffic, temperature, speed limits, etc. (Intelligent Range), and I've always found it accurate (if slightly conservative) in mountains. It also works in areas without cell service (like mountains and national parks). All of my road tripping is done with Connected Navigation for a reason.
