On a trip to Whistler BC today. Nearing the border I found the ‘display in miles or km’ on the 15” display:

This changed the display of the guessometer and distance to destination. The speedometer and speedometer remained in miles.

After passing the border I was watching for the speedometer to change for several miles er., kilometers. Nope. Then I noticed the speed limit sign was just showing “LIMIT 70”, and didn’t say MPH. It was picking up the km/h signs. But still showing my speed as 42 MPH. When I went 5 mph + the speed limit sign flashed. So it knew what was going on!

well I found another place you have to change. Menu/Settings on the steering wheel and check “Speedo in km/h”.

Ya, it's right in the IC so you can easily change the setting on the fly.

Personally I use kwh/100km because our fuel efficiency ratings have been in litres/100kms for a very long time and that's what I'm used to and it gives you numbers with no decimal.

Hope you enjoy Whistler!

When I'm in Canada, I leave the first setting alone. I want to know my efficiency and trip info in miles, no kilometers. I change the second setting so I can see my speed as compared to the limits.

Always good to see a Lightning on the road, I saw one on Hwy1 north of Vancouver, weaving in and out of traffic! Maybe that was @Hellian 😝

made it up here from Snohomish with 35% left, didn’t bother stopping before the border to top off since I had used so little. Had my Tesla adapter ready for its virgin use just in case. Now I’m parked in the garage with the trickle 110 on, if I leave it there until Tuesday night I won’t even have to look for the chargers in the big parking lots!

Glad the rains have cleared out the smoke and most of the nearby wildfires are under control!
