Hey @ZSC100 , Good Afternoon
I tried this approach today Morning and seems like its still not recognizing the new switch.

This is what i did

1) DIsconnect 12V battery for 1 hour
2) Do the steering wheel switch swap
3) Update SCCM module with new values
4) Restart CAR

Its still not recognizing the new switch. Here are the new SCCM values

You say you put the old switch back in? What I'd try is put the old switch back in, get it working, that way you know that you are doing things correct physically. Then with the new switch in and working, change your part # to the new part. Verify the original stops working? Then Proceed to swap in the new part.

Thank you for your reply. Yes i did put the old one back yesterday using the same technique and it worked fine. Then after reading your comment yesterday about FORSCAN changes , I tried installing the new one today morning with the same technique.

I have disconnected by 12 V battery now and would plug it back after 2 hours to see if that has any effect.

I'm quite sure im doing the installation correctly as i have done it now 3 times :-(.
1) Install new one (didnt work)
2) Install old one back (worked fined)
3) Install new one again (not working until now )
