Disagree. People are too stupid. They would say "why is my brake light on on my dash, I'm not pushing on the brake pedal!"
That is the last thing I've ever heard a Tesla driver say. I'm guessing that is what set Tesla apart.

I forgot about the fender mounted ones. Those were cool too. I'm talking about the little red diodes mounted inside the car. My husband corrected me - they were mounted in the center of the headliner over the back window so the driver could see them in the rear view mirror.
I had forgotten about these too, but was going to note they were in the rear so you could see them in the mirror. We couldn't afford a car that had them either, but a friends mom did. I thought it was pretty cool to see them light up or blink. Those fender mounted blinker lights were good too. We still need those for the people that can't see or hear their blinker, but yet have been driving with it on for a mile.

I cannot wait for 1.2. I love BC (it works well here in Kansas on the interstate - flattish, straightish roads are its friend) as-is, but lane-change, lane-bias, and better cornering will address the vast majority of current flaws.
How do you see what version of BC you are on or are all Lightning’s as of now on BC 1.0? I have the same pleased feeling when it is working but equal levels of frustration when its current quirks are evident on seemingly simple stretches of road. Certainly wouldn’t renew the subscription for the feature in its current state.

Everyone has 1.0.

On adaptive cruise control braking situations where someone pulls in front of you, I've set the desired separation distance to the max (4 blocks or car lengths, whatever). So, I'm usually the maximum adaptive cruise control distance behind a vehicle that's been ahead of me for a while, giving someone else more room to pull in in front of me. So, I usually don't experience any aggressive braking by my truck unless some idiot ignores the available room ahead and cuts me off by swiping in right in front of me.
