They will accept you when they choose to accept you, IF they choose to accept you. My 2021 was never accepted for the year I owned it. I bought a 2022, and was immediately accepted.

I am in IT professionally, and the stipulation that makes me nervous is this:

“Understand the software provided is pre-release, therefore you should expect some errors, bugs or failures”

I get it, but I worry about what failures they are talking about.

Software engineer and former release manager, not worried either. Frankly most of the times beta testing is when we confirm what we know. Like “oh we know there’s this dialog with a typo and don’t care if people report that, we are going to release it anyway and fix later, we mostly want to find the odd stories of bugs we didn’t know about”


There are slight risks to a public beta but it’s not nearly as big of a risk as you might be worried about.
