FMC draws 30 amps. I think it is designed to work with the 30 amp Pro Power Onboard.
I think that would indicates that the FMPC draws 30A max because the Lightning bed 240V outlet is rated at 30A max.

I had seen some posts indicating the FMPC drew 32A, but maybe that was the Mach-e version and not the Lightning version.

The thread has gotten a bit off-topic. While this may be true, it is not what the OP is trying to do. The OP is trying to charge his Lightning from a house outlet. Your info above would be relevant for powering equipment from PPOB.
Well I guess it got on the subject of generator cord ratings and could a #10 generator cord handle a 240V 30A continuous load, so I forgot what the OP was about.

If L1, then FMPC charge rate is:

1.44kW = 120V x 12A;
12A x 120% = 15A

So a 100ft 120V 15A cord.

If the acceptable voltage drop is 5%, #12 would suffice; if 3% number #10.
