Hi
I’m located in Denmark where we use type 2 charge port, and I’m currently trying to replace the type 1, with the type 2 charge port.
Nearly everything fits, connectors etc, but there is a difference in the lock actuator (locking the charge cable )
does anyone know what to change with forscan to get in working / charging with the type 2 port ?

I would like to purchase your CCS1 port.

There aren't any configuration options for the SOBDMA, but there may be different firmware for the European port.

If you can find an equivalent truck that came with the port over there we can look at the VINs of both and compare firmware.

The problem is, you can’t buy it with ccs2. Only mach-e’s coming with that option..
maybe if I can get the options for that, I can make it happen ?

What, I swear I've seen Lightnings with CCS2 before. Weren't they on the passenger side port opening on the 22 & 23s


Explain the issue you're having with the lock, specifically, is there a sequence issue, is it not locking and you think you need the lock?

havnt seen one with dual charge.
The problem we are having is, the truck won’t charge because it thinks that the button on the charge cable is always pressed. It came after the cable was unplugged before the charging was stoped. It won’t starte chargeing after that

This sounds like a CP or PP signal issue. You can check these via CarScanner Pro and and an OBD dongle. Do you have that? I'll instruct you on what PID's to look at and what behavior to confirm.

Like rugedraw said, have you cleared all DTC's, made sure none are coming back, tried charging again, see if any DTS set?

In FORScan you can use the Scope function to view PID's, there are a few to look at to show if the PP and CP signals are correct,,, search for control pilot and proximity pilot.

Yes, i believe that Europe mandates locking at level 2 charging also so not only is the port different, the control is different.
You should contact some Norwegians.
