Reviving an old thread to say thanks to all who posted helpful tips and vids! I installed the Putco emblem over this past weekend. I used the Putco headlight harness and swapped the red/black wire pin postions. I connected the harness to the driver side headlight and extended the harness using the same type of weatherpack connectors used by Putco. I snaked the wires through the factory rubber hood wire loom and added plastic wire loom everywhere else. I am happy with the result. The hardest part of the install was installing the headlight harness (tight space from above) and removing the plastic retainer clips for the factory rubber loom retainer. I found it easiest to climb into the frunk to wrestle with it. Overall, I am happy with how it turned out. Thanks again!
