Anybody know if there is a forscan setting that turns on the emergency brake (hand brake) automatically every time the car is put in park?

Even with a 2 degree slope on my driveway, the auto emergency brake does no engage. The only remedy is to open the door before I put the car into park as that is the only way I know how to manually engage the emergency brake but this seems silly.

This is coming in a SW release. I believe it may already be on the Mach E. It has been noted however. Tesla has done this since day 1 and Ford is adopting the strategy.

Otherwise it is push/pull to engage and disengage. I don't remember which way is which.

Having an issue with Global Windows. Did every change, even went in to the module and confirmed that now it says Enabled for each one, yet doesn't work. Lariat, April 2022 build.

Edit - that was it. Never dawned on me that someone would want to not have that feature turned on, and there would be switches for it. Much obliged.

Hello! Quick question about the front light bar adjustment (making it brighter) using Forscan. Does the mod also adjust the brightness of the left and right side components of the light bar (those 7-shaped DRLs on each side)? Or only the main bar attached to the hood? Hopefully the entire bar and sides are brightened with that setting change. Thanks!

There is only one video where the owner believes his light bar is brighter. I don't think there is much more confirmation or belief that this adjustment is really working. It works for the DRL's on an ICE truck, so it was attempted, but not sure you'll really get anything out of it.

Is there something wrong with your Parking Brake button near the Headlight control. It's a Push/Pull button/level. One way engages, the other disengages.

Nothing wrong with the lever but a auto parking brake feature is something I have on every other vehicle so I was hoping my 60K truck would be able to do it also.

Hmmm. I personally would hate the truck applying the parking brake everytime I parked, especially on a flat surface. My driveway is on a 6 degree incline so it does auto apply for me when I park at home. To each their own though.

My driveway has a 2 degree incline and it never auto applies the parking brake. It makes a very annoying lurch backwards if you don't apply the parking brake manually. I personally would like to have the parking brake applied every time the truck is parked because why not?

Did you try a new sensor? Did it fix the problem? Also do you know the voltage at the plug which wire? I assume the truck needs to be on and wiper stalk on as well?

I use single pedal driving, but when I stop I get a notification on my dash indicating “parking brake has been applied”.

Has anyone successfully performed the mod for folding mirrors?

Lincoln Folding Mirrors Setting (folds when locked--only unfolds when ignition started): successful in Lariat ER with 5/5/22 build date.

My understanding is the mirrors should remain folded when the truck is unlocked and the doors is opened. They should unfold when the truck is started or the door is closed (which ever happens first). and should remain folded if, after the door is unlocked, opened, locked and then closed again.

What I am seeing is the mirror is stay folded when the door is unlocked and opened. If I hit the lock button, the mirror immediately unfolds and remains unfolded when the door is closed.

If I unlock, open the door and manually press the lock rod down, close the door, the mirror will unfold and immediately fold again.

Any help is appreciated.
