As potato said, you get a discount if you have the Tesla subscription. It is a monthly subscription you can cancel anytime. I will subscribe before longer road trips when I know I will be hitting a supercharger 4 or 5 times. Also, you don't have to disable Plug and Charge, but a couple times I just plugged into supercharger before activating and it immediately started charging via Blue Oval Network (thus not Tesla member rate). Had to quickly cancel charge, then go into Tesla app and start charge. Sometimes there is a slight delay between ending charge and being able to start a new charge, so I just turn Plug and Charge off. It compensates for me not remembering to start charge session before plugging in.You get a discount using Tesla App?
