Did you ever try this?I'm on Salt River Project (SRP) for electricity and they have a relatively short EV discount window. Starts at 11PM and goes to 5AM. I have the 11 start scheduled but I may try to move that to 2-3AM when the weather warms up. Since the FCSP is protected from the weather, I may even try ventilating the housing with a couple of openings top and bottom, passive cooling is better than none, but will protect with screen material to keep out bugs and such.
It's been particularly hot here in western NY these last couple weeks, and any time it's over 90d outside it either overheats after charging for a while or right away. Today it was reading overheat even without the truck plugged in, and it was only 87 degrees.
Charger is outside, but on north-ish side of concrete building.
I was thinking about putting a tiny fan in tube through the back and through the concrete block. But it gets just as hot inside that room, so not sure it would help.
