I'm still on the 5.28.0 version dated 9/8/25, my android play store history shows my device installed it on 9/18, no newer releases are showing at the moment.

Last week I had issues with the Samsung Watch 4 applet not working with this version of Ford Pass.

I uninstalled the watch applet, then reinstalled it, that repaired the malfunction.

I have the Fordpass app 5.28 on Android 16 and my view is different than that, my target charge is a slider and it works as designed I guess. When I adjust that slider sometimes I have to hold my finger on the target charge % for a second or it'll slide back where it was, sometimes it over shoots and goes higher when I let off it, sometimes it lands lower.

Edit: Even when actively charging, I can adjust that % up or down, if I adjust it below the current %, charging stops.

Do you have a location based charging scheme stored as Home or another label?
If not, that might be why you don't have the "Target Charge" button like I do when not plugged in.

My slider is only visible under the scheme I have saved, it's also visible if I'm plugged into the EVSE and waiting to start charging or actively charging.

Nope, nothing of the sort. No idea how to set a location based scheme.

Edit: Found the location based scheme setting and no it is not set. What value or advantage does it make to have location scheme?

It would allow you to set a limited SOC ie. a value less than 100%

It would allow you a specific time frame (two per day) and versions for weekend and weekday when your truck would actually charge after plugging into the EVSE.

Hmm, well I can adjust that slider to any % of charge I want now, even while it's still charging.

As for time, I plug it in when I want to charge it, usually before bed. Our power company doesn't give a discount rate during off peak times so it's useless to worry about timing.

That's good for your use case, this Q&A hopefully helps others where it's relevant, especially TOU conditions.

Anyone's FordPass not loading data this morning? Laggier than usual and I'm on v5.28.0. Will not load the climate or SOC details. Tried logging out, clear cache/data. Might try reinstalling.

Mine notified me of a charge complete and I used it to lock the truck in the work parking lot this AM

I'm able to view my Insights & Settings pages within "Charge Station"

Maybe try rebooting your phone or clearing only the cache.
Is the wifi feed to your FCSP spotty (weak signals)?

I rebooted the phone, but didn't think to clear the cache. I'll give that a go. Wifi should be fine, I'm usually able to at least view everything. Getting it to accept a new charge rate has been a crap shoot.
