Front Passenger Floor Mat Mounts

Probably one of the most frustrating things that I have yet to find a solid solution for is the front passenger side floor mats do not have any sort of mounting points for floor mats to attach to.

The driver side has the mounts to keep it in place so I am stuck with the passenger side sliding around, not crazy, but enough to be annoying. Has anyone found a way to securely keep the passenger side in place since there are no mounts underneath?

I have seen you can buy mounts on Amazon, but I’m not sure they’re effectiveness

Floor liners fill the whole footwell and don’t have anywhere to go. There’s plenty of options. I have a set of Husky liners that work well.

I tried these as well, and if the passenger gets in it slides forward.

I was gonna get the tux Mat but I'm unsure if those are any better

yeah, I had those and they slide all over the place

Perhaps you have a different part number. I ordered the all-weather Liner-Tray style mats for mine with the truck, and they definitely do not slide.

Update: here is a picture of the back side. The points are right into the carpet and haven’t moved in 3.5 years except when I remove to clean. There is a passenger in the front seat 75% of the time.

Im sure it's just a safety issue so the mats can't get jammed under the pedals and cause an accident.

I'm not sure why they didn't just also add them to passenger side.

Ya I'm trying to figure out how to add the posts into the carpet but not too much info on them. Maybe I’ll do some exploring and figure it out cause all the mats I have, have a spot for the post but there is no stock post

Perhaps you could add some stick on velcro strips, there are some pretty heavy duty ones that might hold the mat from sliding?

Thank you, I was going to suggest that. I would get a lil E6000 adhesive, and the hook side of some Velcro and glue to the underside of the mat. I don't know if the adhesive on Velcro would be enough to keep it stuck to the mat.

Tux mat work great for me and I have never noticed them moving at all.
