Front shock replacement ?

Reviving this thread, if I'm going with the Eibach struts up front, are upper control arms a necessary mod as well?


I went with Eibach shock part # E60-35-061-01-10. Parts and professional installation (including alignment) cost me about $700 total for the front only. They can be set to different heights, I set mine to about 2" of lift, which levels the truck (about 1/2" of rake remains). Get rid of float, still happy after about a year and 12k miles.

I don't think so, unless your UCA ball joints are worn out. I kept my UCAs and my Ford OEM springs, and the Eibachs work well with them.

Same, mine are set to 2.6in and have about 20k miles on them now. No issues so far.
