But if the truck is on and you open the frunk the A/C stays on. ???
If the truck (AC) is remote started and you open the Frunk without first hitting the start button in the truck, the AC shuts down. If you start the truck from inside or remote start and then get in and push the button, then open the Frunk, the AC will stay on.

My truck makes a muffled pop when the frunk latch releases. If I've overstuffed the frunk it makes a significantly louder pop.

I can imagine a scenario where the hood adjustment pins are a little too high and add pressure to the latch, causing a louder pop.

Thank you, I think that was it, the bump stops seemed like they were almost all the way up! Brought them down so they just made contact and sprayed some lube in the latch mechanism. It still has the “pop” of a hood but no groan/creak as it releases or latches.

It messed with the light bar alignment, so I fiddled with the drivers side light to help with lining it up. I think I’m happy with it.

These are what I call the bump stops and where it hits the hood. I did have to break out a large adjustable wrench to get them moving. I used a dab of grease on top to determine contact.

I followed this for the headlight fiddling:

There is a good bit of movement in the bracket (2 silver bolts). But not much available in the actual headlight, more lateral, like suck in towards the grill or out towards the fender.

I think there may be some body alignment issues with the ‘22s (more?). I found a few instances of the drivers headlight needing adjustment and the frunk and fender panel corners being too close on that side.
