Fullscreen Carplay?

So in my PRO, I cannot make the Apple Carplay to be full screen like I can in the wife's XLT.
They both appear to have the same software and my phone has the latest update.
But I cannot make it full screen and make the cards on the right side go away.
Any ideas?

I will have to post those this afternoon after work.
But essentially the expansion arrow in the top left of CarPlay is not there on the Pro. But is with the XLT, using the same iPhone

Interesting. I have an 311a XLT and don’t have any arrows to expand that I’m aware of.

Farley and his team posted on twitter probably a month ago that the update was rolling out for this, but I've had my xlt er since october 14th and the last update on mine was 4.5.2. Can't seem to force mine to update. I don't have it either.

My Pro can make CarPlay go full screen, for what it’s worth, so it’s not an inherent limitation of the Pro, if that was a concern.

Edit: It’s a ‘23, so maybe it came with an update that prior trucks don’t have yet?

Now notice on the next 3 there is an arrow in the top left of the screen for sizing.
The first one does have the cards on the right side but not shown.

So I have no idea how to make the other car do this. I don't even know how to check the software version to compare other than the update notes said both had 3.5.2 Power up

if u dont have the feature you are below 3.5.2. You wont know your power up version until an update comes through.

OK. That’s awesome. Thank you.

But the interesting thing is the XLT has the same update text on the screen, 3.5.2, yet it has the full screen CarPlay.
I wish there was a screen in the car that we just tell you what version you were on.

I believe this feature is actually a sync update aka “APIM” as they would call it. They don’t perfectly align with power up equivalencies. My truck started with software before 3.5.2 and already had Alexa or features that weren’t supposed to be there until 3.5.2. You can check the sync version under general > about I believe. Rev 428 I believe is what I started with and had the fuller screen functionality at least for my bigger screen.

so doing a search, I found this for notes for the Sync update that was in November. So I guess I need to wait for this update on my PRO
