Glare Free light operation

The dash switch to the left of the steering wheel has off, parking lights, manual, and auto.

Right. The auto is for lights to come on in low light and off in higher (day)light.

I just checked my owner's manual. There was a setting for auto high-beam in the vehicle lights settings. I should have checked there before asking here. It makes sense now, glare-free replaces the auto high-beam setting completely.

Ha, you are probably right! I saw the icon, it looked like the other icon, didn't think any more about it.

I didn't pay attention to what the settings were before I enabled glare-free. Was there an on/off option for auto high-beams?

Yes, you replaced Auto-High Beam with Glare-free. It is an enhanced Auto High Beam.
