How to clean between the cab and bed?

Very similar to wooden dowel Iea I found that the fiberglass "glow rods" that electricians use to reach through and grab cables work great for this. And they are made up of short pieces that are screwed together so they are as long as you need them to be.

My 2 cents. Pressure washer is a no and a possible yes... It's a no if want to blow water back through cab back wall pressure vents... But you can also drop the seat backs, take off the padding and block off...

This is a job for duct tape, another person, and some rope that would fit.

I think you can figure out what to do from there... floss away.

An update for those following along at home…

“Flossing” the gap with a rope didn’t work. As it turns out, there are two lips or ledges back there; the first is easy to knock stuff off as it’s about 1/8” deep, but there is a lower edge, flap, or something (maybe the top of the battery box?) where everything will eventually find its way.

The solution, and I use that term gingerly, was a dryer vent cleaning hose attached to my shop vac. I was able to somewhat force it into the gap and had to repeatedly insert and remove it (to clear the cedar debris from the nozzle, as if would clog that too). After I got the majority out from the top, I got under the truck and used the exhaust from the shop vac to blow more of what remained from down there. Still some crap stuck in between, but better overall!

maybe use a wire snake to clean out the space? add a bottle brush? Yea pool noodle stuffed in there after its clean will slow down the needle collection. ( paint the noodle black with rhino lining)

Instead of a pool noodle, foam pipe insulation, same shape, same material, already black.
