Ford F-150 Lightning HS3-CAN access point "EVAC and FILL" 1000026199

Many Fords have an unused connection to the high speed communication network 3 (HS3-CAN) available right next to the fuse box. And the manual it is labeled "EVAC and Fill". In the above picture it is the left one on the Maverick.

I have a crappy version of the repair manual that does not allow easy searches.

Has anyone found something similar in the lightning?

Alternatively, any other useful spot other than the gateway module to access HS3 CAN.

Nope, not in the Lightning, best place to get on HS3 is near the IPMA, easy access from the side panel with the door open, and all kinds of room for custom modules.

I dug thru my Escape & Maverick manuals, no reference to this connector in any procedures.

Search on C1026, AI gives:
The Ford C1026 CAN bus connector labeled "Evacuation and Charging" is a diagnostic port primarily used at the factory level for testing and initializing the hybrid and electric vehicle (EV) battery systems.
It is not used for typical onboard diagnostics (OBD-II) and is generally not referenced in standard service procedures for technicians.

Function
The connector's name, "Evacuation and Charging," refers to the factory process of preparing a vehicle's battery and related systems.

This includes:
Battery system evacuation: This likely refers to removing air or contaminants from a thermal cooling system to ensure optimal performance.
Initial battery charging: The port is used for a high-speed charge to bring the battery pack to a specified state for shipping or final assembly.
System diagnostics and testing: It allows factory tools to communicate with the vehicle's High-Speed CAN (HS-CAN) network for final verification of the hybrid or EV system.

Location and wiring
Location: The C1026 connector is often found on Ford hybrid and EV models like the Ford Maverick.
CAN bus wires: The connector contains wires that are part of the vehicle's HS-CAN network. On some models, the High-Speed CAN (HS-CAN) lines are identified by:
HS-CAN High: Green-Orange wire.
HS-CAN Low: Gray-Blue wire.
Note: In many cases, the connector is left unused on the vehicle after its initial factory purpose is served.

Edit: The only link AI refs is back to MaverickTruckClub.

Yes, all mostly true.

Specifically, in the Escape/Mav/Bronco platform, is a direct connection to HS2-CAN. (I incorrectly said HS3 can earlier).

But not helpful in regards to the Lightning.
