Wow that’s impressive! I just completed 2200 mile trip from Blaine, Wa to San Luis Obispo, Ca and averaged 1.7-1.8 m/kW overall with the same Flated air topper. I wasn’t tracking super focused but it appeared truck was averaging 2.0 until I hit central Oregon. From there to SLO, efficiency dropped to 1.6-1.7. I’m thinking the terrain changes over the few passes plus 95 plus degrees made the impact. However when I reached SLO, the range stayed at 1.7-1.8 for duration of the week. Now back home and driving mixed highway and local trips, the efficiency is back to 2.0 - 2.1. If you’re hovering at 2.3 that’s awesome your range at 90% must be around 290 miles?
I have a Pro SR so 90% is about 210 or a few more in ideal conditions.

Good morning, I recently added a cap to my Pro from Flated that has increased the range by 18% to 2.7 mi/kWh. I posted a video of the range test and now with ~800 miles the range is still holding the 2.7. I met two other Lightning owners charging at A-Basin on our last ski day and we exchanged thoughts about the range increase. I've had a tonneau cover since day one while the other owners run an open bed and we've noticed roughly the same 2.3 range, as noted in previous posts. The same appears to be true with hard caps having no effect on range. Without doing the math, my guess is with the Flated cap weighing only 55 pounds the ratio of weight added versus the tunnel created is net positive.

See my range test on YouTube here, twodogsdennis

Rather than posting a lot of pics, I thought readers could check out the channel as they often do when others post about their YouTube, but here is a pic. As I said in the video, I've done a variety of terrain from 6,000 ft elevation to 11,991 ft, 70 degrees to 32 degrees.

I have an electric tonneau cover I installed the week after delivery. I also drive in a variety of environments. My overall mileage average is 2.4 Kwh after 26k miles on my 2023 extended range F-150 Lariat. I charge at home and love this truck!

I live in Washington state and my energy company has incentives to charge for all EV’s except Ford , I contacted them and this is the massage I’m getting “Unfortunately Ford vehicles are not currently supported within the PSE Flex program, despite being generally supported on Optiwatt. This is because some Ford owners have experienced issues with FordPass due to overactivity by Ford's security system. Not everyone experiences this, but those who do, are locked out of FordPass until they change their password. We are working with Ford to resolve this issue, and hoping to have it fixed very soon.” Anyone has same issue ? And is there is such a thing charging OFF peak for cheaper rate in Washington state ?
