My plug-in display with USB ports on the dash 12V socket has shown over 15V a couple of times when starting up the truck. Minimum lately has been about 12.5Vdc. Is not 15Vdc considered too high? I should probably stick in a voltmeter to double check when I see that.

Typical AGM battery charging is higher than other types, usually in the upper 14 volts range, but I guess 15 is what Ford is using - when charged and floating, should go back down to around upper 13 volts range if healthy.

So normal for our AGM batteries.

Plug-in automotive items shouldn't have any problem with the 15V because they usually have voltage regulators to handle that much over-voltage, but check the product literature to be sure before you fry your favorite plug-in.

Reminds me of when the electrician who wired my wife's pottery shed mixed up the neutral for one of the hots and the 120V outlets had 240V. I found out when I plugged in my 120V drill and it burned up in my gloved hand! He was engaged to be married but found out his fiancee was cheating on him with his best friend was the excuse the supervisor gave me for the mistake. Since then I double check every tradesman who does work at my house!
