@RLXXI @EVpower It used to let you turn it off. There is still a toggle in Sync under Cruise Control. But it doesn't work anymore. I haven't tested if you change from Adaptive to Normal.

Thought so. My guess would be one would need to use regular cruise control instead of adaptive in order for it to not fight one with the wheel.

It seems to work when I disable it correctly using the toggle on mine even with Adaptive Cruise still enabled.

Interesting. Have you not received the IPMA update then? (If unsure DM me your VIN and I'll check).

And by saying it works - you mean the toggle works, i.e., LKA does not automatically come on anymore when you turn on cruise.

I updated it in FDRS a couple months back so everything should be on the latest including BC 1.4. I toggled the lane keeping off on the center screen and when I turned on CC, it didn't default to hands-on lane centering when I was driving. I'll doublecheck again the next time I go out.

Hmm, I tested mine today. I turned off the toggle I showed in post 15. And when I turned on CC on a city street (non BC), I immediately got the popup that Lane Keeping was enabled and the instrument cluster confirmed. So despite the toggle being off, LKA still turned on with cruise for me..

I did not try a BC highway. The info screen for that toggle states:
Ford F-150 Lightning Lane Keeping (or Lane Centering) automatically engages with Cruise Control? 1754166587865-4e

which kinda reads that it disables hands-free BC.

hmm...just retried and I don't even seem to be getting the pop up anymore when enabling cruise but hands-on lane centering takes over as expected. If I have cruise enabled and hit the lane centering with hands-free toggle to off on the APIM, the lane centering turns off. Lane centering also remains off if I toggle it off prior to enabling cruise. I did install a Comma a few weeks ago but I had it disconnected while testing and wouldn't think the harness would have anything to do with it. If the IPMA wasn't such a pita to get to, I disconnect the harness and try again.

Ah, didn't realize you have a Comma. Doesn't the Comma have an interface box that intercepts the bus messages to/from the IPMA? If so, maybe it's doing something even with the Comma disconnected???

Yeah it has a plug that goes into the IPMA. Kind of odd behavior since it seems to be working normally but just doesn't give the pop up. If you hit the toggle while you're driving with cruise/lane-centering on does it stop the lane-centering?
