Ok, so there is nothing you and I can do in terms of getting your nav to work. Your APIM would have to be reprogrammed for ROW (rest of world). It would require you to ship your APIM to the person who can program it who will then ship it back to you. The cost is $150 plus whatever the shipping cost. So, you would have to trust two total strangers from the internet on the other side of the world with your APIM and money.
Or, deal with it as is and use the nav from your phone.

That I am not sure about. I can tell you countless F150 owners have messed up their software and corrupted server back-end data by swapping out APIMs from other vehicles in order to upgrade the touchscreen from 8" to 12". if whatever APIM you buy is not programmed to the proper level it needs to be when you install it, it may cause problems that will break the ability for the vehicle to be update via OTA or FDRS.
It may be possible, but I am not sure what is the proper way to do it if there is.

@daz9 Did you get the nav sorted? I'm got the same problem here. I use google maps, but the background systems for adaptive cruise control clearly uses SatNav data. My Lightning does not autmatically adjust the cruise control for new speed zones (I guess, it's looking for US zone signs, not EU ones), and it does not reduce speed into sharp corners. Also, BlueCruise will not work without SatNav data.

I was avoiding posting anything so the pros and those with experience can speak up, but since it's been a few days I guess I'll just add my speculation. For speed limit sign recognition I suspect you'll either need to either reprogram the IPM, or replace it with a UK unit and I have no idea if they are compatible with other models. As far as nav goes, does the truck currently have internet access like OTAs, Ford app access, etc? Not the same location, but similar problems can be located in this thread, AFAIK he got the TCU connected but he was still waiting to replace the APIM for nav

Thanks for the reply, and thanks for pointing me toward that tread. It has a lot of good info.
I do have the Carperformance TCU, and I got a OTA, but I am now hung up on TCU-25.2.8.5, which is not completed. FordPass works. PAAK works.
I might just have to try the Carperformance APIM, but I was hoping it could be coded instead.

"Not completed" means that particular OTA failed for some reason. It does not mean there is a problem. You just have to wait for the OTA to be resent.

Is there a way to initiate that? It's been like this for about a month already. FordPass website says it's already installed. 25.2.4.9 is the latest I got on 12/23/2025
PS, I don't want to take over the tread from the OP, so let me know if you want me to start a seperate thread about my issues.

Message me the VIN. I can check the OTA history and we can talk off the forum. But no; you cannot initiate the OTA trigger yourself. You may have gotten the same OTA sent twice and it failed the second time which is why you are seeing that message about not completed.
