How many miles did you have on your factory tires when you took them off? Any pics of what the tread looked like by chance?

I just swapped the Grapplers out because they were so damn noisy on aftermarket wheels.

Grabbed a set of more pedestrian Cooper AT3 4s. Less aggressive looking but the handling is back along with the quietness.

how are these on stocks? Let us know the tea he drop. I know I I dropped 0.4kwh (2.2 to 1.8) at 70-75 mph.

Is that drop with the Coopers or the Nittos?

Nitto’s

Before Nitto’s I had coopers and it remained steady at 2.2. Went back to Coopers because of this. Although the Nittos looked damn good.

Thanks, planning to swap to Cooper's for this winters because the stock General all seasons sucked in the snow last year.

Just got them today, weren’t too bad up to 55 mph. Definitely noticeable though, like a low rumble, more than the stock.

Right at 15k. They weren’t too bad of shape, I got an unrepairable screw in the front passenger, and no one had the 116T general, just the 115S. Costco told my wife they stopped making that tire, which didn’t make sense.

So I just thought, why not look cooler?

I absolutely love my Recon Grapplers with the camper on and off roading to camping sites. I average 1.7 on highway with them and the Four wheel Campers Slide in. I get 1.9 consistently around local mountain driving in Tahoe with both on.

Thank you!

I think the sound level is there. It doesn’t bother me at all, I expected a change and wasn’t upset. I drive a Bronco with ATs, so it’s actually comfortable to me. I was more concerned about off road performance for grip than the noise.

I looked all over trying to find photos of stock wheels and more aggressive tires.

just in case anyone’s looking for the same. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Have that same truck and wanted to do same thing. Can't put bigger tires or never get in garage. Perhaps these with a 2 inch level kit would satisfy me.
